Access Network Settings
- Open the Start menu and select “Settings” (the gear icon).
- In the Settings window, go to “Network & Internet.”
Add a VPN Connection
- Click on “VPN” from the left-hand menu.
- Under the VPN section, select “Add a VPN connection.”
Fill in the VPN Details
- For “VPN provider,” select “Windows (built-in).”
- In the “Connection name” field, enter a name for your VPN connection.
- For “VPN type,” choose “Point to Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP).”
- Enter the server address provided (e.g., from freevpn724.com) in the “Server name or address” field.
- Check “Remember my sign-in info” if you don’t want to re-enter your login details every time.
Add User Credentials
- Click “Save” to create the VPN connection.
- Then, click on the new VPN connection.
- Select “Connect.”
Enter Login Details
- Enter your VPN username and password.
- Click “OK” or “Connect” to establish the connection.
Connect or Disconnect
- To connect or disconnect from the VPN, go to Settings > Network & Internet > VPN.
- Select the VPN connection and choose “Connect” or “Disconnect.”
Verify the Connection
- Once connected, a VPN icon will appear in the system tray showing that you’re connected to the VPN.
