Why Use OpenVPN?

Download and Install OpenVPN Connect
- Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
- Search for “OpenVPN Connect” and download the app.
- Install it on your device.
Download and Extract the VPN Profile
- DVisit the DuelVPN server page and download the ZIP file containing the OpenVPN profile.
- After downloading, open a file manager app to find the file.
- If it’s in a ZIP file, extract it using a file manager or unzip app.
Import the VPN Profile into OpenVPN Connect
- Open the OpenVPN Connect app on your Android device.
- Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner.
- Choose “Import.”
- Find the folder where you saved and extracted the VPN profile.
- Select the .ovpn file to import it into the app.
- Tap “Import” to add the profile to OpenVPN Connect.
Connect to the VPN
- After importing, the profile will show in the OpenVPN Connect app.
- Tap the profile to choose it.
- Tap “Connect.”
- Enter your DuelVPN username and password when prompted, then tap “OK.”
Verify the Connection
- Once connected, you’ll see a key icon in your notification bar.
- Visit a website to check if your IP address has changed.
- The OpenVPN Connect app should show “Connected” with details about your VPN connection.
Disconnecting from the VPN
- To disconnect, open the OpenVPN Connect app.
- Tap “Disconnect” to stop the VPN connection.
